Why is it that scientist always try so hard to prove that God isn't real?

well the reason why they try to prove that God is fake is because they are just wanting to get more and more people to believe them and the more that people believe them the sponsors they get and then the more sponsors that they get the more money they get. but at times it is funny because they end up proving them selves wrong.
The premise of the question is wrong. Scientist are not trying to prove anything about the nature of God or the supernatural. Scientist are trying to answers questions about the material universe with materialistic answers.
