Stress can cause a person to miss a period, as well as your weight can affect your cycle. In more serious cases of missed periods, it could be PCOS, which is what I have, or Endometriosis. There are many factors as to why some women don't a period every month, missing one isn't a big deal. But if a person misses several, I would recommend seeing a doctor to make sure something more serious isn't going on.

If its your first period, then you dont really know if there's anything really wrong with you. But if your period came once and hasn't come for more than a month and a half, then there might be something wrong. But dont get scared. Usually periods come around every 4 weeks. :) It's basically natural.
