They don't but the difference is how it is used by each. Research as shown that girls/women use more parts of their brain at the same time while boys use only one part of the brain at a time. Girls also grow up using communication and verbal skills at an earlier age than boys. This means when it comes to things like reading and language they start younger in reading, writing, and language areas.
