As it is the largest ever built and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World it acquired the name 'The Great Pyramid of Giza' and one could easily say that is a nickname. The proper name is the Pyramid of Khufu or also the Pyramid of Cheops, that being his Greek name.
