The real reason is because in areas where high population density occurs, the area has just become very developed and has began to expand rapidly and more people go to the area to work or live. therefore resulting in highly or over populated areas. such as Japan.
Because of all the industries they have there.
Also because of all of the mountains and how little space they have due to the huge population of Japan.
They have extremly small flats and can go up to a 1 bedrom flat for everything.
Coz people have loads of kids coz they know some will die and then not as many as they expect die then there are more people in the world than there would have been if the amount expected had died but they dont. but they dont take the hint andhave more and more kids expecting most of them to die. and also theres lots of illeagal immigrants.
