The light from our own sun takes roughly 8 minutes to travel the distance to us. That means when you look up at the sun (don't do that without special glasses) you are looking at the sun as it was 8 minutes earlier. Or you can say you are seeing the sun 8 minutes back in time. The stars which are far away galaxies, the light takes years to reach us. So the light we see at night now can be 100 years old. Or we are seeing that galaxy as it was 100s of years ago.
This is usually referring to the stars. If you're looking at a star that is twenty light years away, you are seeing it as it was twenty years ago. If it blew up right now, you wouldn't know for twenty years.
It can't. There is no such thing as a time machine. I think you are talking about looking at a planet or star that is millions of light years away. The star you are looking at may no longer exist, but the light from before it's demise is still getting to earth, so it is like looking back in time.
You are looking at light which takes time to travel. If you look at Alpha Centauri, you are seeing it as it was just over 4 years ago as that is how long the light takes to reach us across space.
Because light take time to travel through space, looking through a telescope is like looking back in time.
Light from distant objects takes a long time to reach us, often millions or billions of years. So what we are seeing is how the object looked when the light left it.
because of science
Scientist investigate the early universe by observing objects that are extremely far away in space.Beause it takes time for light to travel through space, looking through a telescope is like looking back in time one travels. Looking at distant galaxies evolve through time and perhaps what caused them to form in the first place.Scientiiist have already found some very strange looking objects in the Early universe.
Telescope eyepieces are important of any visual telescope. It is the main part of the telescope and is what determines how the object will look like through the telescope.
if you are looking at space from earth with a telescope your view will have to go through the earth atmosphere.... and for that the less brighter object in space will be blocked by the atmosphere... polutions etc.... but space telescope like hubbles... etc are situated in outer layer of our earth atmosphere..... thats why through it we can observe much clear space view....
Telescopes are inanimate objects and dont' "see" anything. However, yes, reflector telescopes can be used to observe planets; the vast majority of large scopes are of the reflector type.
tools like radio and telescope and camera.
You know what planet Jupiter looks like by viewing it through a telescope, or looking at photos that other people have taken of it through a telescope.

Looking through a telescope is like looking back in time because light takes time to travel from distant objects to reach us. The farther away an object is, the longer it takes for its light to reach us. Therefore, when we observe distant celestial objects through a telescope, we are actually seeing them as they were in the past, since the light we are observing left those objects long ago.

when you look into the telescope you should see a blue x like in the corner click on it and there you go
He doesnt travel.. The Hubble telescope is stationairy and only in space to bypass the atmosphere. The Hubble telescope maginfies so much, that if you are beneath the atmosphere, you get a blurry image. Like looking through a dirty window. So they shot it in space. Beyond the "dirty window".

To get abducted by aliens first you have to have a telescope. Put the telescope up high like on a flat roof. Get your sim to look through the telescope. After a while an alien spaceship will appear and take your sim away and bring back later. (haven't tried this in a while, hope it works)
Perhaps there is an optical blemish in your telescope causing you to see what looks like a line in space. Try looking at a streetlight in the distance with a similar brightness to see if it is still there. If you are convinced you are seeing something unusual, call any local telescope club or university astronomy department and tell them what you are seeing.
it gives them a rear view of the car, like looking through through the back window
Well we can see that by looking through a telescope: craters and maria (seas) as well as plains. The far side of the Moon, which is never seen on Earth, is only seen by lunar orbiters.
The view through a submarine's periscope was just like looking through an optical telescope - it needed light to enter the lens to allow the user to see in detail what was in front of the periscope.
