Slush is a word given to describe half melting water ice where crystals of ice are present together with a little liquid water.
If one had a magma made of crystals in present together with liquid rock - this could be described as a "slushy" mix BUT please note a normal Magma will be entirely liquid until it moves to environment where it begins to cool (at which point crystals will start to form in it) - magma is ONLY a slushy mix for a short time - just before it solidifies.
Some minerals in the magma have already crystallized. Minerals in magma can have a wide variation in temperature range for solidification.
Bowen's reaction series--the progression of the crystallization of different minerals from magma.
It is because the magma come up from the mantle through the crust where there are bound to be a few crystals it runs through and of course lots of rock
Yes.
Mineral crystals, gases and a slushy mix of molten rock
Completely molten rock would not contain any crystals. Most magmas, however, are a mixture of molten and solid crystals of some sort. It is possible that a magma could contain larger crystals of a specific mineral.
Yes. Rapid cooling of molten rock produces small crystals.
Molten magma cools and hardens to form mineral crystals.

Mineral crystals, gases and a slushy mix of molten rock
Magma is a mixture of molten rock and semi-molten rock that is under the Earth. If a magma deposit is located close enough to a large water supply then it can heat the water. These are known as natural hot springs

Magma is molten rock, as the magma cools the minerals crystallize out of it, the slower it cools, the larger the crystals.
Magma is a mixture of several substances. It generally includes molten and/or semi-molten rock, volatiles such as dissolved gas or gas bubbles, and solids such as suspended. crystals. It is found beneath the surface of the earth.
