They aren't, any more than they supported any other president. The study guides are usually produced for Civics or American History courses, and sometimes, they feature a section about the president. Usually, these sections are positive, because they focus on the office of the president, rather than the man who is in that office. The section of the study guide about President Bush was quite neutral, and I assume the one about President Obama is equally neutral. I am sure partisans are upset about that, but study guides are supposed to focus on facts, rather than getting into political rhetoric.
