Is moss a abiotic factor? Are you going to answer my question?
Yes, it is.
Yes, it is.
Yes, moss is living, therefore it is biotic.
yes it is a ling plant and it has all characteristics all living organisms need
YES
there is a poisonous marine moss called noctiluca, but is only poisonous to fish. ^^ About that answer... I looked up Noctiluca, and the only thing I found was a protozoan. And a protozoan is definitely not a moss. Also, I was under the impression that moss - true moss, anyways; lots of plants have the name "moss" but aren't actually, i.e. Reindeer Moss, Irish Moss, Spanish Moss - is terrestrial, meaning there's no such thing as marine moss. Anyways, hope that helps!
Yes, the word moss is a noun, a word for a type of plant, a word for a thing.
No. Plants are living things and moss doesn't move
No, peat moss is a growing, living plant, when peat moss dies and given the right conditions it will eventually become peat.
Moss killer is best used before scarifying (thatching) as raking the living moss just spreads the spores.
I am Ninety nine percent sure it is a living organism, but I could be wrong.
Moss is a living plant, varying in shades from green to gray. However, when dead it may persist in a similar appearance for some time. Bacteria on moss can also give it a greenish color.
