The thin ribbon cables (two of them) need both side cleaned. Since the ink is water based I suggest using a cloth dampened with water. Be careful not to pull the cables out of it's connector

Why is your Canon MX300 printing crooked lines?

The images I am printing are at a slant. I printed a donations log this morning and the entire grid was crooked. I also have tiny lines printing on every document and photo. These little lines are in a pattern and go all the way across every page. Up to this point I have been more than happy with my printer and I'd really like to resolve this.

What new hp printers use hp 22 ink cartridges?

When searching for a printer compatible with HP 22 ink cartridges, you can look for printers in the HP ENVY, HP DeskJet, or HP OfficeJet series, as these printer lines have historically used HP 22 ink cartridges. How do you cancel a printer for printing something you don't want?

Pressing the 'cancel' button on the screen which usually appears at the start of the printing session sometimes winds up with weird consequences, along the lines of the printer jamming. If the paper hasn't been fed in yet, take it out and the printer should indicate paper needs refilling. Alternatively, you could unplug the printer from the power supply.

What feature on a printer must be enabled so that a printer can print on both sides of the paper?

First, for a printer to print on both sides of the paper without you having to physically flip it over after it's done printing on one side, it has to support Duplex printing. This can often be found out just by looking on the printer, Example: HP LaserJet M3035dn <-- where the d signifies duplex and the n is network. If there isn't anything like that on the printer, just check the manual :D Second, the printer driver on your computer has to have this feature enabled. If it is, when you're in a document and are about to print, a window pops up with the printer and some more into. Besides the printer name, in most cases, there is a button that says Settings, most of the time. Click that, and choose duplex printing. On many old style printers, it can say: Manual duplex, you have to turn the page. (Or something along those lines) For a more in depth walkthrough, read the manual that came with the printer :)

How does a printer communicate with the PC?

Its a heavy duty to answer this question because it concerns many fields, however, this brief description for the logic of PC-Printer communications " Hopefully ". A printer is connected to the computer through the Parallel Port ( Eventhough some new technologies use the Serial Port, but I will discuss the Parallel one). Lets take a task of printing certain text that is assigned to a printer to print, first of all, the PC checks whether or not the printer is online using a signal from the printer it self tells the PC that she is online, secondly, the PC signals back the printer to let it know that a printing task is on the way so the printer will begin reading incoming Bits, if the printer is able to print then task is done, so it signals back the PC announcing printing completion, otherwise if the printer is out of paper or there is an error, it will give certain signals that indicate the printer's status. for expert IT people, the PC uses 8 lines that carry out 5 Volt each, the printer listens to the voltage in every line, if exists, then it is 1, if not, then its 0, and the PC listens to 5 lines carry out 5 Volt each from the printer to the PC, if 5 Volt exists then its 1 , otherwise its 0. So the PC uses 8 bits to transfer data to the printer and the printer uses 5 bits to provide the PC with its status. MasO: The Code Hunter
