Its probaly because they have to store all your information and secure your password and personal info otherwise it could get hacked, it could take minutes, hours, days, depending what sort your iPod is....if ur still unsure, go to comet or wherever you got it and ask them, if I doesn't work after 3 hrs, contact this number: 01582 75383 529, if this number doesn't work, find them on Facebook at apple services, it could charge you depending on the situation, hope I helped n if ur really lost nd confused then ask the net because I'm lost after, lol x
