A bad alternator. Turning the steering wheel all the way is very demanding on the power steering which draws power from the engine and can cause the idle to dip down. A weak alternator is usually the cause for the stalling.
The eps light is the electronic power steering you should have a knob down by the left hand side of the steering wheel turning it to minus- hardens up the steering and turning it to plus makes the steering very light and good for parking the light comes on when water hits of the electronic part of the pump but after a few mins turn the car of and the light should clear of the dash The eps light is the electronic power steering you should have a knob down by the left hand side of the steering wheel turning it to minus- hardens up the steering and turning it to plus makes the steering very light and good for parking the light comes on when water hits of the electronic part of the pump but after a few mins turn the car of and the light should clear of the dash
sounds like either your power steering is going out, or you are low on power steering fluid
a steering yolk is making it alot easier to steer. less tension while turning. helps you out very very much. dillonwerbeski
transmission fluid can be used very similar to power steering fluid transmission fluid can be used very similar to power steering fluid
It is not illegal to drive without power steering. Many people who drive very old cars do not have power steering.
It is not possible to alter a car from a manual steering into a power steering car. The engines for the two types of cars are very different.
the steering will become very very hard.
it is very dangerous to drive with a power steering leak. This is because steering can become almost impossible and you could have an accident.
Its probably a wheel bearing but check your tyrod ends as well. Sounds like the power steering pump is bad (common on these cars) check the power steering fluid level (make sure the engine is cool to the touch first and be careful not to spill any as power steering fluid is very flamable.
No. The power steering is in no way associated with the transmission. If it runs low, your steering will get stiffer and you might ruin your power steering pump (making steering very stiff.) It will harm the trans if you add it to the trans fluid.
You can not remove a power steering pump on your car and expect it to handle like a car with out power steering. Removing the pump will make it very hard to steer because the rest of the steering components are made for power steering.
