I don't know if there is a fusable link! This is what I did. I lifted the glove box out and next to the fusebox is a flat black box (3" x 5" x 1 "), probably the electronic ignition. I unplugged it and replaced it. Further I replaced the relays (3 of them under the hood). one is located directly beside the smec computer, one is a metal relay in the middle of the firewall and the other is in between the brake booster and the batterie. I tried it again and it works. the other way is, run a wire from the batterie to the pos side of the coil (to supply power). pull one of the sparkplug wire of and stick another sparkplug in it and lay it on top of the valve cover. Crank the motor over and see if the sparkplug sparks (this is to check your coil working properly!)
Where is coil located on a 1989 dodge dynasty at
What causes no power to coil pack in 1998 dodge stratus ?
The coil is bad or the ignitions system is grounding out somewhere.
dodge 360 getting fire to coil none from dist
could be.... coil ... coil wire or... pick up coil.. not working
Replace the ECU.
If you are not getting spark to any of the plugs could be coil rotor and/or cap HEI ignition?
check the two relays mounted on the firewall right in front of the driver side.
on left front side of the car nex to the coil
If you are getting power to your coil and you still have no spark at the spark plug, you have a bad coil. Beyond that you will have to chase the electrical system. could be a fusible link.
need a new coil or coil wire if you are getting power to the coil
by putting a towel over the top of the power reader and listening to the tempreture valve
Coil not getting juice/bad coil(s). Check wires with test light for current.
well the reason my coil was not getting power on my 85 mr2 was cuz the timing belt snaped
If you have checked the coil pack to make sure it is getting power then it might be the ECU. I would make sure you check the engine codes too.
crank shaft posetion sensor
You will not get fire to the plugs on a 2000 Kia if the ignition coil is defective or it is not receiving power. This can be checked by using a multimeter to verify power levels at the coil.
try to get a new ignition rotor
check the computer module UNDER the coil.
there is only one coil of you are getting power to it but no spark replace it
1992 dodge dakotas do not have front coil springs, they have torsion bars instead.
how to find a number 5 coil on a 2006 dodge magnum
Could be the ASD Relay (Auto ShutDown). If that's not working it can cut power to the coil, just switch the ASD Relay and replace it with the Horn Relay and see if that restores power, if so just go and get a new ASD Relay.
check the coil , and ecm and all connections
Since no year given I can only guess, check the crank sensor
