I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean how many sites are there that - - are free to use but have ads? - are free of ads? - give you free web space with ads? - give you web space free of ads? In any case, nobody knows. There is no list of all websites in existence. Nobody knows how many there are or where they are, and nobody could even speculate on how many there are offering any particular service. Probably somewhere between "thousands" and "hundreds of millions".
Yes, it's a scam. You pay an "advance fee", and then do not become rich by clicking on ads or sites.
Yes, nobody is allowed to click on their own ads. There is no way for an ad network to allow publishers to click on their own ads because this will bring no benefit to the advertisers, which is their source of revenue.
My dad gets paid for people clicking on his website because he works with Googlesense ads, Do some research on them :)

You won't get paid for it; they have no way to check how many ads have been sent. In any case, have an obj_ad that has the sprite of the ad, and have clicking on it send you to where the ad links to.

I use Adblock Plus (link in the related links), and it blocks the vast majority of banner ads. Also, you can add ads to your block list by clicking on the "block" option (with the add-on).
From clicking on Ads that says... CLICK HERE YOU CAN WIN ONE BILLION DOLLARS JUST GIVE US ALL YOU PERSONAL INFO.
There is many ways: clicking on an ad, clicking on the ads that move across the screen when you do those question games, and even clicking on a game. So don't ever click on the ads, even though it looks harmless. Hope that helped. :)
The ads on Wiki Answers pay for the cost of running its website, management, staff, and so forth. If it weren't for ads, we would have to charge you to ask questions. Nobody wants that! It is duly noted that you believe our site, "Sucks". That's OK.
