There are a few different reasons for oil loss in a 2003 Suburban. This could be because the oil filter needs to be replaced or the oil drain plug needs to be replaced.
When standing facing the Suburban, the radiator drain plug is on the lower right-hand side of the radiator. Drain the radiator coolant into a bucket by turning the drain plug three-quarters of a turn to loosen.

They dont use a drain pug on the gas tank, only way to drain it is to get a siphone pump and drain it. oldgrizzly

The bottom radiator hose is the drain plug. I guess the designers decided that there was no need for a drain plug any more.
There is no drain plug. You have to use the radiator hose as your drain. Disconnect it from the bottom.
