If it is directly below the ignition switch, then you have a problem with the vacuum tubes on the switch assembly. Remove the panels around the switch and see which one is leaking. Replace the tubes.
I have a 1985 Mercedes 300D. The oil pressure gauge failed which caused engine oil to leak from under the dash. The car does not have an electric oil pressure sending unit, it has a pipe which is connected to the engine which is oil filled.
Rotella T is the best oil, in my opinion, for diesel engines.
is from your instrument cluster, oil pressure gauge has a line running to it, is my quess,,,if not! you have more trouble than you can handel, good luck n0rt
Rotella T is the best diesel engine oil.
Under the oil pan, which is located directly behind and below the front bumper.
I always used Rotella T on my 300SD. I used it exclusively as a truck driver.
The hood doesn't have any oil in it. Where EXACTLY is the oil coming from?
One of them is the inline filter which is on the drivers side of the engine. The other looks like an oil filter and is on the drivers side of the engine, also.
I have a 2000 e320, the oil filter gasget leaks just prior to the need to be changed.
the engine oil pressure unit in the dahsboard is leaking.
oil leaking out of the muffer and the air filter oil leaking out of the muffer and the air filter oil leaking out of the muffer and the air filter oil leaking out of the muffer and the air filter
If the dipstick of a 1999 Mercedes ML320 smells like gasoline there could be a gas leak dripping into the oil pan. The engine needs to be checked for leaks to avoid any serious damage to the vehicle.
could be oil is low or in need of a oil and filter change. n0rt
