If one of your guinea pigs was limping would it help if you took your other guinea pig out of the hutch?

As long as the other guinea pig isn't crawling all over the limping one it should be fine! When a guinea pig is in distress the other guinea pig normally looks after it. The guinea pig that is well will probably take it food. Make sure it can get water. Take it to the vets if it starts to loose weight e.t.c. If you took the other one out it would make things work. It will miss the other one and start to get distressed. Hope this helps Laura

Why is one of your female guinea pigs grooming under the other ones chin?

A guinea pig bowing her head or what looks like she is grooming or trying to nudge her way under the other one's head is a sign of submission and truce. This means that the guinea pig who is grooming is lower on the hierarchy than the other.
