it cant collapse in the way shft mines can. As Shaft mines are underground it makes it alot more easier for it to collapse on everyone and they will all die so therefore open pits are much much safer than shaft mins. Thanks
well see it all starts with the rock exploded in to the lava and it seprates the time and effort. hope that is the anserr(:
The two types of mining are Open-cast mining and Underground mining. Underground mining is further divided in to Adit mining and Shaft mining.
easy to cover the pit
This is the open pit mine. Surveys are conducted (including drilling) and mapping is done. Then, with the location of the ore bodies pinpointed, material is removed, drilling and blasting create the ore pile, and the ore is loaded and hauled to the crusher. From there is it off to the processing plant.
Open cast mining is mines that are dug on hilly areas. It is quick easy way of providing coal but it damages the wildlife and can be quite dangerous. The way open cast mining is carried out is that they stay on the same ground level when digging. This is done by moving the dug out soil along so slowly more area has been dug out. This will continue until all the coal has been removed and then the mine will be filled up again and left to grow naturally.

Strip mine Open-pit mine Shaft mine
it is, because if underground the mine can cave in.
Well since guy rather have a loos whole and usually guys will work in a mine they would use a open pit mine since it is bigger than a shaft ( small whole mine)
Hambach open pit mine was created in 1978.
Usually a shaft mine would be used, unless the ore deposits were in a "vein", then a open-pit mine would be used.
A pit is open, whereas a mine has a ventilation circuit.
I think it is the Lavendar Pit (copper mine) in Bisbee, AZ.
Mine is inside the ground.Quarry is on the ground. It is a open pit mine.
In Butte, Montana.
of course
