did you check if the radiator is plugged? Check for operation of the cooling fans. Turn on the A/C to see if the fans come on. If they do not come on the fan motors, relays or wiring need attention.

Does a radiaor get hot yz80?

does a radiator get hot on a 2001 yz80

Where is the location of the thermostat on a 1997 Chevy Lumina?

If you are facing the car, follow the upper radiaor hose, on the right hand side. You will come tothe aluminum thermostat housing. It is a beast to get to the two bolts that hold the housing to the engine. It looks like I'm going to have to remove the rear exhaust manifold to access it completely.

How do you remove the fan from the water pump on a 95 exploder xlt?

you need a big wrench and turn it off, but you must leave the serpentine on to do this and be sure you tighten it up tight and use thread locker when reinstalling or you will be replacing the pump, fan and radiaor all at once about a $450 mistake i made...

Will a bad radiator cap cause excessive pressure that will cause the coolant to boil off instead of circulating through the engine?

No. Excessive pressure will not cause the water to boil off quickley. It will cause the radiaor hose or other components to burst causing loss of coolant. A bad radiator cap can cause high or low pressure; low pressure will cause the coolant to boil at a lower temperature.

Where is the coolant plug on a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country?

On most Chrysler products the coolant drain is incorporated into the base of the radiator, usually near the lower radiaor hose....but could vary... should be a nut looking devise or a wing nut style probably of black plastic design. Look with a drop lite from the top and from the bottom, mostly hard to see and access. If my memory serves me well, the plug is located on the same side as the cooler lines. Good Luck, Jay

What happens if you put oil in the wrong hole?

Putting oil n the wrong place can be a real problem. First, where did it get aded ? If it was put in the radiator you can drive the vehicle and get it up to temp. Open radiaor cap, slowly, and let it overflow into a catch pan. There will be some coolant but most it will be oil. Discard this properly. Don't let it go down a water /sewer drain, ever. If the wrong oil was put in a P.S. system purchase a suction bulb from an auto parts place. Suck all the oil out of the P.S. resivoir. Discard properly. Fill resivoir with P.S. fluid. Drive vehicl normally for a few days, repeat till the P.S. oil smells and looks like the fluid in the P.S. jug. If you put a small amount of the wrong oil in the master brake cylinder resivoir, do the same as above unless you have replaced all or most of the oil in the brakes system. If this has happened, you must get it drained 100% and replaced with the proper brake fluid for you vehicle. Flush the whole system with more fresh brake fluid to make sure it is 100 % DOT 4. Some of the rubber parts & seals can be harmed by the incorrect oil. You may start seeing leaks at the slave cylinders and disc brake caliphers. If it gets that bad, you will need to replace the oil again and replace all slave cylinders and disc brake caliphers and, of course, flush the whole system again with DOT 4. Catch all of this oil & dispose of properly.
