Best Answer

As a part of a balanced diet - it isn't.

Answer

It is actually not bad for you in a moderate diet. One box of pasta has about 250-300 calories, and has good source of proteins and calcium from the cheese. The average adult man would need to consume about 2000 calories a day, while the average adult woman would need to consume about 1700 calories a day. In exess amounts, pasta contains a lot of carbohydrates and starches which can lead to unnecessary weight gain or obesity.
