Religious studies revolve around some sort of higher being and the ideals by which that higher being suggests you should live and do things. Philosophy is very relative and really has no definite answers, it is a study of thought and the way our minds perceive the world. Philosophy though, just like religion, has many different subcategories.
Almost all major universities offer religious studies degrees. Many universities offer religious studies programs within a philosophy degree. It will depend on the university you choose.
