Which woman? Rosaline? Juliet? The Nurse? He is apparently upset about Rosaline not being interested in him, as was the custom. He is very upset about not being able to see Juliet because he is banished from Verona.

∙ 13y agoThere are three reasons. At the beginning, he is upset because his first love, Rosaline declared that she is not offering her love to anyone. Toward the end of the play, he is upset because he is banished from Verona, which means he can't see Juliet anymore. Lastly, almost at the very end, he is upset because he discovers that Juliet is "dead" from one his servants, Balthazar, before Friar Lawrence's letter gets to him. He then buys some poison from a local apothecary. Then he goes to the Capulet crypt and sees Juliet "dead" with his own eyes. He us so upset that is it actually true, he drinks the poison and commits suicide.

∙ 12y agoThe whole point of the story is that Romeo and Juliet's love will be forbidden because they are from rival families. When he finds out who she is, he understands this, and is of course upset.
