dirty laser lens or bluray laser is broken try cleaning the lens with cd/dvd lens cleaner or calling sony on their support line 08705998877 i have the same problem since installing update 3.15. No games or bluray movies worked cleaned laser now got all movies working but only a few games????!!!!!!!!

First you've got to into the settings menu... an tick 'MOVIES' then go back to the main screen... there shuld be a new word 'MOVIES' click on that... there should be youre movie... it its not check its a MP4 format... if not it deffanately wont play... but that's only for the new i-pods... the thinner iPod nano... will NOT play movies...! Hope i helped a little...! :D x
