This church in Jerusalem is officially the Church of the Resurrection. It is in the east central part of the Christian quarter, on the supposed site of Jesus' tomb. Steps connect it with chapels of St. Helena and of the Finding of the True Cross, making it a very holy place for Christians.

Catholics usually use the term "Holy Places" to refer to the places in Palestine where Christians make pilgrimages, such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa, Calvary, etc. Additionally, there is the seat of the Church in Rome, but that is not a holy place per se.
