The story of the holy grail is more fiction than anything else. Most true Christians could care less whether there is or is not an actual chalice used by Christ at the last supper.
The holy grail was so sought after because it was said to give immortality to whoever drank from it. Also in a religious heavy medieval time, the grail was said to be the last cup Jesus Christ drank from, making it a very important religious item and making it wanted by the church and its followers.
Do you mean holy water? if so...holy water is used in baptism to represent the holy spirit. This is used because when Christians believe in Jesus, the holy spirit enters them.
So far I think it has not been found.
Well, not really. For one, the biggest problem is people who search for the grail don't know what it really is. There are lots o possibilities of what the holy grail might be. So nobody ever recorded finding it. Many orders and groups proclaim they have the holy grail but nothing can be proven. So to answer your question, nobody knows, maybe somebody did, or it could still be hidden.
Because it is our history book and our guide to life.
The Sangraal is the Holy Grail and is thought to be a cup or chalice, it is also possible to be a dish or plate but translated into some Easter languages it comes up with stone or gem so knowone knows what the holy grail actually is
Arthur himself did not even set off on the Quest for the Holy Grail. Depending upon which version you're reading the successful knight is either Percival or Galahad, a few others are listed as being there as well. So Arthur did not complete the Quest.
According to my knowledge, the holy grail was the cup used in the last meal Jesus had with his apostles.According to some sources, the cup that Jesus drank from at the last supper was known as the holy grail.According to other sources, the holy grail was the cup that was used to catch the blood from the wound inflicted by the centurian Longinus on Jesus as he hung upon the cross.Joseph of Arimathea is said to have arrived in Kinlochard SCOTLAND (FK8 3TW) in the first century A.D He is said to have brought the holy grail with him together with two bottles containing the blod and the sweat of Jesus. The grail was handed down from generation to generation and then became the center of a quest that was central to the Arthurian saga.Galahad eventually finding it.However, the basis of the idea of a quest for some kind of vessel appears to have come from Celtic traditions. It may be connected with the journey to the otherworld to find a magic cauldron.let me correct you,......the holy grail was not the "cup of Christ". it was Mary Magdalene herself....though the legend tell us that the Holy Grail is a chalice - a cup. but the Grail's description as chalice is actually an allegory to hide the true nature of Grail. the legend used it as a metaphor for a woman ! and this woman carried a secret so powerful that if revealed, it could devastate the very foundation of Christianity..! you can see this proof in the painting The Last Supper. the figure to Jesus' immediate right you can see a delicate body with folded hands and flowing red hair is Mary Magdalene herself.
I think Christians don't believe this.Hospices are important to all people not so important to Christians.
forever and ever and it doesnt exist so dont try
If so, you've got about 3 times the size of the United States worth of a continent to search.
So that you can eat the body of crist.
