Seems to be a residue of the "big bang". I think the reasons for this are not yet entirely clear. Specifically, there is some mysterious force that makes our Universe expand faster and faster! The reason is called "dark energy", but what it really is, is actually a mystery.
The initial expansion of the Universe is attributed to "inflation", attributed in turn to a particle called an "inflaton". The details are also as yet unknown.

The universe is expanding.
The universe is always expanding - there could be millions a day.
Wherever you are located, it seems as if you are at the center of the expansion.
That question cannot be answered. We would have to know the magnitude of every star in the universe. The universe is infinite (and expanding). It's impossible to answer your question.
That's a possibility; but the observational evidence shows that the Universe is expanding faster and faster - and it seems likely that this tendency will continue in the future. It seems likely that the Universe will continue expanding exponentially, doubling in size every 10 billion years or so. Thus, it doesn't seem as if it will collapse again.
The question can not be answered because we do not know about every object in the universe and how the interact with gravity, time, and the objects around them. And time is the same through out any known or unknown parts of the universe. The answer is not right. A moment is a infinite amount of time where every object positions in the universe have a corelation which changes in the next moment. If not ,you cant get a still photo of any street where every object is moving in different speed.
Since the Big Bang, the universe has been expanding. Galaxies are moving away from each other as space itself expands. This expansion is happening at an accelerating rate, driven by dark energy.
i dont noe
It is because the Universe is expanding.
All the available evidence strongly indicates that the Universe is, indeed, expanding.
...And the Ever Expanding Universe was created on 2009-07-14.
1. the universe continues to keep expanding 2. the universe slowly stops expanding 3. big crunch (basically the universe will stop expanding and fall back into itself)
