Most piercings swell afterwards....This is why we use jewelry a little longer than necessary for the initial piercing, to accommodate for the swelling....Whoever pierced yours used too short a jewelry....In a day or two it MAY go down but if it doesn't it will swell over the ball and have to be cut out.....Hope this helps
The barbell is probably too short and isn't accommodating the swelling. Go to your piercer and ask them to change it out to something longer.
Would you put grease on a cut? Naw I didn't think so, so why would you put Vaseline on your Monroe piercing? Read and follow your written aftercare instructions give to you by your professional body piercer, if it's not on the instructions don't do it.
Is it a new piercing? It might just be bruising. Especially if the piercer used clamps. Otherwise, there really shouldn't be dark skin but it might be scarring. You can use scar cream on it just not directly in the piercing
Yes, you just need to rinse your mouth out with listerine after every time you eat anything with a new piercing like the lip, marylin monroe piercing, labret, or tounge.
Chris Long, Eugene Monroe are new players.
It sounds like the barbell is too short. Go see your piercer asap as they may need to lengthen the barbell to allow for more swelling. When i had mine done, the same happened. This was because the top ball made an indent into the skin, just as though you sat on a beanbag it sinks to your shape. If it isn't painful then this is the problem. i hoped i helped =] X
New Orleans Is Sinking was created in 1989.
So long as the threads are the same there will be no problem. Be carefull though that you don't damage the new piercing by handeling it roughly. Don't forget about keeping everything sterile including the new balls.
it depends on the gauge they pierce it with. Mines a 16g but if your planning on hiding it, its very difficult
Swelling is normal for a new piercing.
You're fine. My monroe would get soar at night and be fine during the day time. It's no big deal just a process of healing.
Go to your piercer.
