Sounds like the integrated video card died. An integrated component can fail, just like an add-on card can.
Don't dispair though, it doesn't mean you need to replace your motherboard. You can purchase an add-on card, you will need to know if you can use a PCI or AGP card. You can probably use a PCI card. Most motherboards will automatically disable the integrated video when you insert an add-on card.
Be sure to ground yourself to the chassis by touching it before inserting any add-on card.
A new display card will range in price, it can be more than a new motherboard, or can cost more.
Your motherboard must support SLI/CrossFire and you have to get same graphics cards, there are alot of youtube tutorials
My HDMI cable stopped working.
Good habit to be into is to plug all parts in first to make sure it's working (including the graphics card). Also to make sure the motherboard and the rest of the parts are grounded to the case.
nvidia geforce 8200 is a motherboard, not a sound card. It has a Realtek HDA (Azalia) soundcard integrated.
s
it operates whole comp.
a computer with lots of ram (more or equal to "8gb ddr3") , dual or quad processor (2.5-3.6 GHZ (speed)) by amd or intel, if your work is not graphics intensive (ie just making spreadsheets/letters) the intel integrated graphics is included on mid range intel processors, otherwise get seperate graphics card from amd or nvidia. **** IMPORTANT:= network card/interface (on motherboard) made by INTEL ,since you will be conecting to the internet for work. **** (realtek, via, other generic brand of network cards are crap, really bad , last thing you need is downtime from silly people who do not know how to code their drivers properly). Most importantly do not get a computer whose motherboard chipset is made by NVIDIA(different from graphics card)
Not really the term "computer" applies to everything needed for a working system. The tower houses the Central Processing Unit (CPU), Motherboard, Memory (RAM), Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Disk Storage. It forms the heart of a computer (and could serve as a "server") but would be useless to a user without a Display, Keyboard, Mouse etc. Many modern computers do not have a "tower" at all, everything is built into the back of the Display screen, such as a "Tablet" or "All In One".
Here's 8 parts, but I wouldn't really say the 8.CaseMonitorKeyboardMousePower supply unitMotherboardCPURAM
The only true way is to replace the CPU with a working CPU and see if it works. But, if all of your other hardware devices are working then you can bet it is not your motherboard. Another words if you are getting power to your motherboard and all your devices are working, but you are having problems with your CPU then you can bet it's the CPU.
Yep, that should be working fine. Just connect the 5770 to a PCI slot on the motherboard, and connect the power PCI power cable from the graphics card to the PSU (Power Supply Unit).
The graphics card is compatible with the motherboard however, you will need a larger power supply. You currently have a 300w power supply whereas you need a 350w. Most likely, this will prevent it from working properly
