Currently, the rate of extinction is significantly higher than the rate of species formation on Earth. Human activities, such as habitat destruction, climate change, and pollution, have accelerated the extinction rate. This imbalance in the rates of extinction and species formation is leading to a loss of biodiversity at an alarming rate.
False.. if the birthrate is greater than the Death Rate... the population INCREASES !
A higher birth rate is a rate of reproduction greater than the current norm, or average, or a rate of reproduction greater than a norm or average at a given time.
An endangered species has dwindling population numbers and is close to extinction. Its rate of reproduction is slower than its rate of death.
Depends on what period of time in the past you are comparing "modern times to. For example, if you were to compare today's extinction rate to the one during the mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous ( K-T boundary) you would consider today's considerably lower. But if you are referring to the "common rate" of extinction, then it would have to be due to human activities: pollution, deforestation... you know the drill. It's important to keep in mind humans are only speeding up a natural process, how much so we don't know.
birth rate greater than death rate
50 times faster than the normal rate!
Basically the baud rate can never be greater than the bit rate. Baud rate can only be equal or less than the bit rate. However, there are instances that baud rate maybe greater than the bit rate. In Return-to-zero or Manchester encoding, where there are two signaling elements, the baud rate is twice the bit rate and therefore requires more bandwidth.
