This is a reference to the online video game "There is No Game." In the game, the player has to perform various activities to get the game to work at all, and there are hints if he does not do the right things. The ultimate point is to unlock a goat from a cage, using a key taken from a squirrel that is "generated by a glitch" in the game, which you reach by creating a tree and watering it. Supposedly the goat will lead you to an actual game...except that it doesn't. It only leads you to the actual conclusion of this brief and slightly amusing game.
