By disobeying God.
No, saying that Jesus was possessed by the Holy Spirit is a common belief in Christian theology. It reflects the understanding that Jesus, as both divine and human, was empowered by the Holy Spirit in his ministry on earth.
Yes, if you are truly repentant.
Yes you will be forgiven, but if you grieve the holy spirit then you will not be forgiven.
Blasphemy is a sin that can be forgiven but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot (Matt. 12:32; Mark 3:29; Luke 12:10).
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Here are examples.-LUKE 12:10, "And everyone that says a word against the Son of Man, that will be forgiven; But he that blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.-MARK 3:29, "Whoever blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of everlasting sin."-MATTHEW 12: 31-32 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come".
Grieving the Holy Spirit is the only unforgiveable sin... Some people say that it is suicide? I believe this, but also believe that there are many things that grieve the Holy Spirit (makes him sad) ex. not listening to him when he tells you what to do.
God will surely forgive because God has an infinite mercy, but through sincere repentance to sin no more against him, but Luke 12:10 NIV says "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."
This is what Jesus told us about the unpardonable sin in the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 12:31-32, " Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come". I would say this is fairly clear. Be careful.
From what I know you could be forgiven for anything as long as you are sincere about it. . Who would you ask for forgiveness? We receive forgiveness from God... The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness against blaspheming against the Holy Spirit but against God and Jesus there is forgiveness yet they are the same person. Why if they are the same person is there the different forgiveness.
No, reconciliation is about confessing your sins and being forgiven by God or 'reconciled' with God. confirmation is about strengthening the faith you have with God and the Holy spirit
Yes. God has already forgiven our sins through the blood sacrifice of His Son Jesus. Blasphemy Of The Holy Spirit is denying in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead. Just thinking the thought or wondering about it is not believing it.
