Toes don't serve useful function in humans. Toes are in actively used by the primates and other animals.
If the little toe was removed, a human can still function without it, therefore it is technically not necessary for everyday life.
It's not. It is used for balance. Some people thing that as we become more "evolved" we will lose it, but we won't. God gave us it for a reason(ballance). Without it you can still walk but it affects the way you do.
the truth behind the little toe is that it is used to maintain equilibrium or balance of the feet. however, we as humans have become more advanced by means that we have more toes to keep ourselves balanced
The little toe is vestigal because we dont need it to balance now that we stand stright up. The little toe was for balance when we still looked like chimps or apes.
Hope this helped.

Frogs have 4 fingers and 1 vestigial finger, and 5 toes + 1 vestigial toe. The vestigial fingers and toes are positioned on the inner side (bode-side) of the hand/foot, pointing towards the body. In live specimens these digits are not visible, only when a frog is dissected it can be seen.
