Because of how Susie dies in the beginning. I guess the movie doesn't depict it very well....The movie is the WORST EVER portrayal of a book I've EVER seen. The Lovely Bones was the most beautiful book I've read. It had a great view of Heaven and the view of Earth from Heaven. Oh my god!!!!! it just makes me so mad the way they made it.
