We can and have selected what we want more in another species. We have taken corn and planted seeds from corn we like better and so produce better. Maybe the corn has bigger ears with many more kernels. This will give us better yields. We have done this for different species for many of thousands of years. When we hunt, we select only the best (trophies) not the weakest even though the weakest would be easier.

One technology used on farms to increase food production for the growing human population is precision agriculture. This technology uses tools like GPS, sensors, and data analytics to optimize farming practices, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. By enabling farmers to make data-driven decisions, precision agriculture can help increase yields and sustainability.
