is it wood or gas, usually it is either ran by a power switch that you manually turn on when you want the blower to run or it is on a temperature switch of some sort that turns the blower on when the unit reaches a certain temperature
Not sure what you're needing to do. But to set up the clock and the outdoor temperature sensor, make sure the batteries are new for both. Put the batteries in the outdoor sensor first. Wait to see the temperature reading on the sensor. Then put the batteries in the clock. In about 15 minutes the outdoor temperature should show on the clock. Do not set the clock until the outdoor temperature is displayed. You can set the clock manually, or set the button on the back to atomic so that it will automatically receive the time.

It has to do with something called black body radiation. As something gets hotter, the wavelengths of light the it emits get smaller and smaller, which means that the color goes from red to blue.Look at the Wikipedia chart of color versus temperature to see the color variation as things get hotter and hotter. Also look at the MHHE.com applet program. On this site, you can change the temperature manually and watch what happens to the spectrum of the light that is emitted.See the Web Links to the left for more information about black body radiation and how it works.

A computer can monitor sensors thousands of times a second if necessary - enabling the temperature to be taken more accurately than a human ever could.
The correct spelling is "manually".
There is no "switch" to to turn it on and off manually. It is operated by a temperature sensor relay and turns on and off automatically as needed.
Manually is not a verb and does not have a past tense.
