Oddly, Venus rotates from east to west, the opposite direction from most other planets and moons. This type of rotation is called retrograde rotation, from the Latin words for "moving backward".

Of all the planets in the solar system, Venus has a unique rotation. Seen from above, all of the planets rotate in a counter-clockwise direction. The rotation of Venus is clockwise, what astronomers call retrograde.

How long is meteors rotation?

A meteor is a chunk of something burning up in the Earth's atmosphere. It's kind of pointless to wonder about their rotation, because they only exist for a couple of seconds anyway. If you meant an asteroid ... it depends on the asteroid. 1 Ceres, for example, rotates in about 9 hours; 2 Pallas in a bit under 8 hours; 3 Juno in about 7 hours 12 minutes, 4 Vesta in about 5 hours 20 minutes, and so on. You shouldn't think they're all fast (compared to Earth) either; 10 Hygeia's rotation period is longer than Earth's by over three and a half hours.

What is the planet that its year is longer than its day?

What planet was once thought be covered with ocean of oil?

There seems to be no direct evidence that any planet was thought to be covered in oil. Some sources seem to point to Venus but there is no reason that Venus would have oil apart from the early belief that because Venus was covered with clouds, clouds meant rain. Which meant that the surface of Venus had water. because of it's proximity to the Sun, it must be warm. So what has a lot of water and is warm. Swamps. What did swamps have, a lot of trees. Aka the carboniferous period when vast quantities of carbon was laid down which would have produced quantities of oil, gas and coal - as on Earth. However, this did not happen.
