When the Czar was overthrown Great Britain wasn't doing too good. Conditions were worsening in the UK because of the war and the nation was nearing a revolution, therefore King George thought it wouldn't be appropriate to bring the whole Royal family to Great Britain. He thought it would probably just anger the British people. FYI the revolution never happened in the UK as they feared at the time, as the UK prospered after the war.
well it sometimes can be good for this country and sometimes they con not be good for us...

The great in Great Britain doesn't mean really good, but instead means big. In the same sense that the first world war is called the great war. Great Britain is the large country of the Britons, as opposed to Brittany in France, which is the small land of the Britons.
"Could Germany have invaded Great Britain?" This is a very good question and I personally believe it was possible though unlikely as the RAF ( Royal Air Force ) DEVASTATED the German airforce in their repeated bombings of Britain. Great Britain was too well prepared and experienced. Don't forget the British invented the Royal Air Force and Navy. They were the greatest in the world, not to mention the British S.A.S the most copied and sucessful soldiers in the world still even today. (even German troops in WW2 based themselves on the British S.A.S) Britain had every single bit of Britain covered and ready for such an invasion; the only way in was by the air. Also don't forget the British home guards (the every day mums and dads of Britain were trained in Guerilla Warfare).
