Why is the rpms on my 1997 jeep grand cheroke are to low and dies?
the first thing i would check is the Throttle positions sensor. I had a similar problem and it was a simple fix. just buy a new one and replace it for $20.
If that's not it you may have a vacuum leak. or a clogged/broken pcv valve.
1999 jeep grand cheroke shutsoff need help its something to do with the fuse box relays wires or computer it dies but will fire up a few mins?
I found a free copy of the 2002 Jeep workshop manual very helpful http://www.car-stuff.com/mmparts/jeep-grand_cherokee/repair_manual.html this site also gives a fairly good description of the method of timing the 4.7 Jeep Grand Cheroke Laredo http://en.allexperts.com/q/Dodge-Repair-809/02-Dodge-Ram-4.htm
