Yellow flame can be seen easily and it doens't produce much heat.
its highly visible and cooler than other coloured flames
A yellow flame is named as a safety flame as it isn't as hot as the blue flame
Blue Flame=Can't see (hotter then yellow flame) Yellow Flame (safety flame)=visible
The yellow flame because that is the safety flame
As a safety flame, keep it on this if the burner is not in use :)
The blue flame of the Bunsen burner is when it is hottest. The yellow flame is the safety flame. you should always start the burner on the safety flame which is produced when the holes on its base are closed.
Because it is cooler and more visible than a blue flame, making it safer.
You can't it is always the same. You only use the blue flame to heat things because the yellow flame is the safety flame and the blue flame is hotter.
Safety. The yellow flame is easier to see and burns much less hot.
The blue flame is called a roaring flame and the yellow flame is called the safety flame.
because the safety flame will do less harm compared to a roaring blue flame which burns at a hotter temperature. The tip of the dark blue bit in the blue flame is the hottest (The safety flame is the yellow one)
The hottest part is where the flame is light blue or blue; which gradually turns to yellow as the flame is cooled by the colder outer air. When the safety flame (yellow) is on, the hottest point is the tip of this flame.
The flame that you use the most is the safety flame. The safety flame is the yellow one it is not too hot and not too cold. The air hole should be half open for the safety flame and it makes a hissing sound. Your Welcome xx :D
