may only come on when a/c is on to pull more air through condenser
coolant fan temp sensor 1998 crown victoria
there is no fan belt. the fan is electric-motor powered.
The blower is a multi speed unit.
Elect. fan for the rad. most likely a bad sensor.
My crown vic 2000 when ac runing that time fac not working pls help me
Loose ground wire? Excessive resistance on cooling fan motor?
Remove the rad. cover, belt, fan, and there's the water pump.
In a 2007 Crown Victoria, the fan relay is located in the engine compartment fuse box. To access it, open the hood and find the fuse box, which is typically situated near the driver's side. The specific relay for the cooling fan is usually labeled on the underside of the fuse box cover, helping you identify it easily. If you need to replace it, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected for safety.
Have you had the rad. checked ?
Remove the fan shroud, the clutch fan, drain the rad. from the lower hose, the water pump is right there. Enough room so you don't have to remove the rad.
more than likely your resistor or a fuse, i just changed the resistor in mine and it works fine the part is about 30 bucks
You have to be more specific. Which fan? Blower motor for the heat/ac.......clutch fan for cooling.......electric fan for cooling.....? Wish I could help, if you can add more info, just send it to me on my board.
