The idea of months began as "Moon Cycles"... and thus the term Months from the word Moon.
A lunar month, however has 29.53 days, and a solar year has 365.242 days...
So the seasons would shift slowly with calendars based on 12 lunar months (and you would still have either 29 of 30 day months to compensate for fractional days in the lunar cycles).
But, perhaps because the moon (lunar) cycles were previously used, 12 months were chosen for the calendar.
365 days / 12 months = 30.416 days.
Thus to divide a year into 12 calendar months with full days (fractional days don't work), the number of days per month have to be varied slightly.
The approximately quarter day per year "extra" is compensated for by adding an extra day every 4 years on the leap year, with more complicated rules to compensate every century

Every day falls in one of twelve different months (thirteen months in some years of lunisolar calendars like the Jewish calendar).
In the winter, depends on where they live in. Some countries have different season times.
because the world it mad :P my freind gave me that answer
Original calendars measured the year by dividing it into months. That number of days was based on the cycle of the Moon, which lasts about 29 and one-half days. Months in different cultures ranged from 28 to 31 days, As the year, based on the Sun, is about 365 days, the months could not all have the same number of days. 365 is not divisible by 28, 29, 30, or 31, so naturally some months had to have different amounts of days. Different cultures came up with different ways of naming their months and giving them their lengths.
In the US: January February March April May June July August September October November December In some other countries they have other months and/or different order of months.
It depends which months. Different months have different numbers of days. There are a maximum of 458 days and a minimum of 454
In the UK: January Febuary March April May June July August September October November December In some other countries they have other months and/or different order of months.
Anytime after they are four to five months old. Different breeds start laying at different times. Early maturing birds can start at 4 months but some breeds take much longer.
Different months have different amounts of days, ranging from 28 to 31. Even though there are different amounts of days in months, we can average out the months to 30.4368 days per month. By this calculation, there are 6018 days in 55 "average" months.
All twelve of them in the Western calendar have 28 days - though some have more. Some countries / religions used lunar or other calendars in which months may have a different number of days.
It depends on what month you select, since different months have different lengths.
Different months have a different number of days. (ex. 30 & 31) if you are using 30 days then it would be 2 months and 10 days.
