In Equator Sunlight falls perpendicularly, while at poles it falls at a steep angle, thus decreasing in intensity
An easy way to understand this is as follows :
In the morning, the sunlight falls at a steep angle. Thats because that place is curved away from the sun. So mornings are cooler and darker. As the day progresses the angle becomes more perpendicular and it gets brighter and warmer.
At the poles the entire day is like a morning. The Sun never got a chance !
It is more COLDER in the POLES and it is more WARMER by the EQUATOR.So therefore the temperature by the equator is warmer and the temperature by the poles is much colder.
Air temperature depends mostly on the angle of the sun. This is why it is hotter at the equator than at the north or south poles.
The ozone is depleted at the poles only. It is because of the low temperature there.
In polar climates, No month has an average temperature higher than 10"c
They Meet
Over the poles, the ozone layer is found to be the thinnest because of the high depletion rate at the poles. This depletion id due to the CFC's carried by the Westerly Winds towards the poles which are further initiated by the low temperature at the Extremes of earth.
The ozone layer at poles is depleting. It is because of cold degrees of temperature there.
Holes are formed only over poles because of temperature. It requires cold temperature.
The ozone depletion is mostly over poles. It is due to the low temperature at the poles.
the temperature at the poles are cold due to albedo which is that light substances reflect heat back into the atmosphere
