In Iceland they are closer to the north pole than in most of the world so they spend more time celebrating Christmas than in most other areas. Because people in Iceland don't know the song. Why? ^ That is funny! this man is wrong, it is because Icelandic people believe in trolls that give you things. there are 12 trolls and a mother (Grela).

In Iceland people celebrate 13 days of Christmas rather than 12. It starts on December 24 and ends on January 6. On January 6 all the decorations are removed from houses and the streets. During the 4th and 5th centuries January 6 celebrated the christening of Jesus and the three Wise Men.
