Pluto has been declassified as a major planet, so it seems you are asking whether Pluto is the furthest dwarf planet from Mars. The answer is no since the finding of Eris that is 25% more massive than Pluto.
I don't think so because we are discovering more Pluto like bodies in the solar system and we either have to make these planets or put Pluto into a new category (of Dwarf Planets) along with these.
Pluto was officially removed from the classification of planet after a discussion and vote of planetary scientists. Turns out there are numerous planetoids at the far reaches of the solar system.
Pluto, it is now a dwarf planet or planetoid.
poor little Pluto
They wanted a Roman or Greek God Name for the new "Planet". PL honored the astronomer who discovered that Pluto should exist.
