Alternator belt needs adjusting
check a/c compressor and belt.
Yes, if the compressor's bearings are bad, usually accompanied by a roaring or squealing noise coming from the compressor's pulley.
my water pump just went out and i thought that the squealing was my belt but turned out to be my water pump and the fact it was leaking anti-freeze. so yes
Bad belt. Worn tensioner. Bad compressor.
What some people do is in warmer seasons, they turn their horses out at night during the coolest part of the day. During the colder seasons, they are turned out during the day. More and more people have realized horses are better off being outside all day every day with a run-in shed for shelter. It can be both
a loose belt between an engine pully and your AC pump is causing the squealing noise a loose belt between an engine pully and your AC pump is causing the squealing noise oic, come to find out that a bolt broke off that holds the pully that was causing the belt the squeel. Also, they ended up just replacing the water pump, saying, while we are in here, you prolly need another water pump cause they tend to got out at 60,000 and up, which is what my cars miles is. Thanks.
if the pump has failed completely it will cause stiff turning, obviously not being assisted by power. if the pump is failing there may be a squealing sound when turned in either direction. This is not to be confused with the squealing made when turning the wheel to its limits.
It is not supposed to be on when engine is running unless there is a problem.
Power Steering Fluid Or Power Steering Pump
Check for a slipping drive belt between encine crank pulley and AC compressor pulley.
When a check engine light comes on, it means that there are issues with the engine. It gets turned off when the person resolves the problem that caused it to turn on.
It is probably your cooling fans. These are electric and may run with the engine turned off. It is probably your cooling fans. These are electric and may run with the engine turned off.
