If it is an aftermarket item it could be a by-pass switch for a remote start.
Steering wheel?
The cruise control relay on a 1994 F150 is operated by a switch behind the horn pad and airbag on the steering wheel. The switch will probably need replacement if the cruise control in your vehicle is malfunctioning.
i dont know but getting ready to do it on my1991 but recently did my F150 and it looks the same so start with a steering wheel puller.... remove the steering wheel and unscrew the screws holding the switch onto the steering column... honestly not as hard as I thought it would have been..........
you need a steering wheel puller.
First of all disconnect the battery remove steering wheel , there is a round slot in the steering column you insert a rod in there it will release the switch ( be sure to remove negative cable or air bag can go off. You may have to twist the switch back and forth to remove
um tune it on frie
As far as I know the clock spring allows the wiring to the steering wheel horn and cruise control buttons to feed in and out when the steering wheel is turned
With the wheels pointed straight ahead and engine running (assuming it has power steering), you measure the amount of travel at the outer diameter of the steering wheel from left to right without moving the wheels.
the brake light switch is located on the brake pedal, near the top. You will have to take off the cover right under the steering wheel to really be able to see it. Hope this answered your question
It's inside the steering column , the turn signal lever and hazard light button are part of the multi-function switch and stick outside of the steering column
The 1977 Ford f150 uses a steering column mounted switch. It should be on the side of the column under the dash.
Should be either at lower end of steering column or on side of transmission
