Too hot and no atmosphere.
mercury is yellowey redish and the earth is blue and green and the planet earth has life on it and mercury does not have any life on it
So far no life on any planet but earth.
Earth has life- Mercury doesn't have life. Earth has liquid water on it's surface-Mercury doesn't have liquid water on it's surface. Earth has one large moon (A quarter of the Earth's diameter) - Mercury doesn't have a satellite so in large comparison (Pluto and it's moons don't count, it's not a planet any more) Earth has a Nitrogen/Oxygen/Carbon Dioxide atmosphere- Mercury doesn't.
Mercury can not support life, Mercury does not have an atmosphere, no seasons, shorter orbit around the sun, etc.
Both Earth and Mercury have atmospheres, but they are very different. Earth's atmosphere is dense and rich in oxygen, suitable for supporting life. Mercury has a very thin exosphere composed mainly of oxygen, sodium, hydrogen, and helium, which is not conducive to sustaining life.
The Earth's moon and Mercury are alike in that they are both rocky and airless. They are also both devoid of life and both have craters and plains.
Mercury: Small, rocky Venus: Hot, inhospitable Earth: Blue, life-sustaining Mars: Red, dusty
no i dont think so because if you live on mercury your going to need oxygen, on mercury, and no it doesn't exist.
Mercury's diameter is about a third that of Earth.
The Earth is more inhabitable than Mercury for several reasons. First of all, the distance the Earth has from the sun causes the earth's temperature to be just right compared to Mercury on which temperatures range from −183 °C to 427 °C. Also, the atmospheric conditions at Earth protect the life forms living there from harmful rays from the sun. Mercury does not have a substantial atmosphere.
Mercury's gravity is 38% of that on Earth.
Mercury is 57.9x106km from Earth.
