To access the percent (and other functions) with the Mac OS X calculator you need to select Scientific from the View menu (cmd 2)
If your calculator has a % sign, you just have to press 7.65% x 430 this will give you an answer of 32.895.
There is none on the keyboard.
In no way shape or form is a neon sign even close by .001 percent to a digital computer.
