- Dumbo
- Bambi
- Cinderella (Stepmother)
- Peter Pan
- Sleeping Beauty
- 101 Dalmations
- The Aristocats
- The Lion King
- Hercules
- Mulan
- Tarzan (Adopted)
- The Princess and the Frog
- Tangled
Not all these mothers are with their child throughout the entire movie, but they are there nonetheless.

∙ 13y agoThey make movies/books with a child that has no parents so that at the end of the movie/story the adult who has been with the child ends up loving the child and adopts the child. As for the movies where a child has only one parent it is so that at the end of the movie/book the man/woman that has been helping or following the child and one parent falls in love with the one parent, then they get married and they have a happily ever after
