Are you sure where the water is coming from? (1) Could it be A/C condensation draining from condensate collector pan? (2) Could it be overflow from the radiator overflow tank? (3) Could it be leaking from the water pump (which could possibly signify imminent failure of the pump)? If you can answer all thes questions in the negative - then take it back to whoever did your gasket work and ask THEM.

There is likely a crack in the engine block.
Usually a leaking hose into or out of the water pump (depending on its location), or the water pump gasket.
Water in the oil is a telltale sign of leaking cylinder head gasket.
It is there to stop the fluids and compression from leaking out.
On engine casing, passenger's side, on flange that bolts to transmission. Probably covered with engine gunk.
Noisy, leaking from the weep hole on the bottom of the pump, or engine overheating.

The engine block coolant plug on a 6-cylinder is near the bottom of the engine. You will need to use a socket set and ratchet to remove the plug.
